Lition Technology AG is a blockchain infrastructure and dApp developer, with 20 employees mostly based in Berlin. Lition’s new blockchain infrastructure which is co-innovated with SAP the world leading business software company addresses key commercial and business issues that have prevented blockchain networks from reaching widespread mainstream adoption so far. With scalable public-private blockchain and ‘deletable’ data features, the Lition network allows businesses and large enterprises to bring innovative blockchain applications to the mass-market that are legally compliant.
Lition’s state of the art protocol enables blockchain based applications to step out of their current niche into commercial mainstream deployment. The development is done together with SAP, whose chief innovation officer Dr. Jürgen Müller is also Lition’s advisor. SAP, a company with >10.000 developers, is developing the storage and smart contract layer, with Lition providing the open consensus layer.
Lition will run the public mainnet using Lition tokens issued in a Token Generation Event (TGE) for transaction execution, staking and sidechain creation. Lition is well positioned to design a blockchain infrastructure for business use, as it launched the world’s first P2P energy trading dApp that is commercially live in a mass market with real revenues and real customers in over 10 cities. Next to this already-existing P2P energy trading dApp, there are many more use cases, with initial implementations in the energy space to build an energy ecosystem, as well as further potential in the finance sector and beyond.
Further, SAP can allow easy integration into their >400.000 existing customers, immediately making them ready for blockchain use cases. It is therefore well positioned to be the standard mainnet for business applications.
