Dusk is a blockchain-powered network that simultaneously guarantees transaction confidentiality and regulatory compliance on chain. Dusk is designed for a restricted set of focused use cases ranging from issuance of Confidential Security Token up to decentralized Darkpool implementation and secure communications. The consensus mechanism called SBA* is designed to be the bridge between privacy, and transparency for regulators.
The DUSK Network is a privacy protocol that uses zero knowledge cryptography to remove the middlemen from regulated markets, without losing regulatory compliance
1 – DUSK Anonymous Network Layer
A gossip layer inspired by I2P’s garlic routing. Gossip is an effective mechanism to avoid IP address propagation. Because Dusk Network uses the same confidentiality in every set the Gossip Layer is extremely strong against statistical analysis.
2 – Segregated Byzantine Agreement
A new consensus mechanism using bulletproof technology, far more suited for privacy than PoW/PoS. Incentivized nodes use a lottery process called sortition to reach direct finality, preventing unintended forks.
3 – Secure Tunnel Switching
A data-streaming layer with full confidentiality. Audio/Video conferencing, on-offline file transfer, and a real-time payment channel. Fast, peer-to-peer, unsurveilled data communication.
