On Thursday, out of nowhere, a couple of celebrities started talking about buying Tron, founder Justin Sun’s projects.
“Exploring DeFi and already liking $JST, $SUN on $TRX. Super fast and 0 fee. Good job @justinsuntron,” tweeted actress Lindsay Lohan.
Just a day before, Lohan tweeted about bitcoin going to the moon only to share the link to her NFT soon after. Lohan, however, was just one in the line of celebrities endorsing Tron products exclusively.
Soon, we had Kendra Lust, Host of Beauty and the Beast podcast, tweeting to her 1.2 million Twitter followers, “people should use only TRX cause it’s fast, cheap and hot, even PornHub likes it thanks @justinsuntron.”
This continued with singer NE-YO and rapper Lil Yachty whose “ideal” crypto bags include all things Tron related – TRX, BTT, JST, SUN, and WIN.
Sun, who is known for his marketing tactics and has shilled billions to promote his projects, obviously had to “welcome” them in the Tron family. But more importantly, “Is TRX mass adoption on the horizon?” asked Sun himself on Twitter.
If one has been part of the cryptocurrency market for some time, they would be familiar with Sun’s marketing tactics and his announcements of announcements and that these latest endorsements are most likely to be paid ones.
No just you paid a bunch of people to tweet about it all at the same time

Sun, who paid $4.6 million to dine with Warren Buffett, also told Bloomberg this week that he bought $10 million worth of GameStop (GME), on which he is currently down about $8 million. He has also invested $1 million each in the shares of AMC and iShares Silver Trust.
The crypto market is actually seeing a lot of endorsements from celebrities in the ongoing bull market. Cameo, an app to get personalized videos featuring celebrities, is particularly gaining a lot of traction. A few weeks back, rapper Soulja Boy did one regarding DOGE.
According to Lohan’s Cameo page, one can make a request for as low as $375 and $3,000 in case it’s for a brand/business. NE-YO, Lil Yachty, and Kendra Lust are also on Cameo.
Interestingly, despite these celebrities’ endorsements, TRX was only able to pump just about 30% in the past 24 hours while many top cryptos are pumping harder. DeFi tokens and other smaller coins’ bull rally, meanwhile, have been off the charts lately.
