Remitly and Visa – Together for Another Five Years

Remitly, a US-based money mover, and Visa, the global payment giant,
have decided to extend their existing payments partnership for five more years.
The renewed collaboration aims to streamline global money movement and to make
the process as painless and simple as possible.

Visa Direct Integration

The two companies will leverage the power of Visa Direct to shake up
the remittance market. Now, Remitly customers in over 15 countries, from the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, can
effortlessly send funds directly to family or friends’ Visa debit cards and
bank accounts in a whopping 100+ jurisdictions worldwide. Users will be able to
send funds around the world in order to give gifts, make payments and help out
in emergencies. Remitly, as the name suggests, largely targets international migrant workers.

Elevating the Customer Experience

Remitly and Visa aren’t just stopping at making the money move; they’re
making sure users stay in the loop. With the Remitly app, customers can monitor
their transfers with the precision of a GPS tracker. Transparency, thy name is
Remitly.

Visa is well aware of the millions relying on remittances, and they’re moving
to dominate the market. Their deal with Remitly will enhance digital payment
experiences and pave the way for financial inclusion. Through this partnership,
Visa Direct aims to foster new opportunities and simplify the lives of migrant
workers supporting their families across borders.

Remitly’s Partnerships Galore

Remitly isn’t a stranger to shaking hands and making deals. Just recently,
they joined forces with Mastercard – but then they’ll partner with anyone – expanding access to cross-border payments
and remittances for US-based clients. The integration of Mastercard’s Send and
Cross-Border Services adds more flavors to Remitly’s already robust offering.

In August of this year, Remitly partnered with GLN International to
make cross-border remittances to Korean bank accounts a piece of cake.

Remitly has also collaborated with Lebanon’s Purpl. By slashing costs
and democratizing the process, they’re ensuring that sending money to Lebanon
is not just a transaction, but a positive force for financial inclusion.

In a world where money talks, Remitly and Visa are ensuring it speaks
every language, connecting families, friends, and opportunities globally. It’s
not just a partnership; it’s a promise to simplify and elevate the way we move
money across borders.
