<p>Exegy, a provider of market data, <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/terms/e/execution/” class=”terms__main-term” id=”60010adb-9e25-4bff-9822-c9210deec853″ target=”_blank”>execution</a> system and advanced trading technology, has named new C-Suite executives. They include David Taylor who was promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Peter Feret who was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Jason White, who was elevated to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).</p><p>Exegy announced these
new appointments on Thursday in a statement <a href=”https://www.exegy.com/exegy-executive-appointments/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>published</a> on its website. The new
top executives are longtime <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/dkk-partners-invast-global-fxpa-and-more-executive-moves-of-the-week/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>industry professionals</a> with about two decades of
experience. Taylor’s appointment
as the CEO comes as James O’Donnell, who has been leading Exegy in that role for the last
17 years, retires from the apex position but remains a Board Member of the
company. </p><p>Exegy Appoints Veterans into Its Leadership Team</p><p>Taylor is a veteran executive at Exegy who has served in product strategy and engineering roles. He
joined the firm as the CTO in March 2005 and rose to become the Co-President in February 2021 and President in January this year. The
executive, who spent over six years at Washington University in St. Louis in
two academic roles, started out his career in 2002 as a Zurich Research
Laboratory Intern at IBM in Switzerland.</p><p>On the other hand,
Ferret just joined Exegy. However, he boasts 25 years of industry experience and has
held top roles at various organizations. He joins Exegy from Ministry Brands,
a <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/terms/c/cloud/” class=”terms__secondary-term” id=”3ee92dbe-2a1b-415c-ad1b-e5cdabf55b76″ target=”_blank”>cloud</a>-based <a href=”https://www.financemagnates.com/fintech/payments/” target=”_blank” rel=”follow”>software and payment solutions provider</a> that targets faith-based
organizations, where he was the CFO.</p><p>In addition, he served as the CFO at Community Brands and ModusLink between September
2018 and January 2020. Furthermore, he worked as the Vice President of
Corporate Finance at Scripps Networks Interactive, a company later sold to
Discovery. Later, he would serve in the same capacity at the now-defunct entertainment
company.</p><p>The third executive, White, has been working for Exegy for almost 20 years, having joined in September 2003
as a Hardware Engineer. He rose to become the Vice President of Managed
Services Engineering in 2016. Until his appointment as the new CTO, White was the Vice
President of Product Management at the company, a role he previously held between 2014 and
2016.</p><p>Meanwhile, Exegy previously onboarded Arnaud Derasse as the Chief Product Officer and Larry
Waldman as the Senior Vice President for Customer Success and Support.</p>
